I have 5 Wyandotte chickens that are 7 months old, these are my first ever chickens. They seem to be pecking eachother a bit. Each one has a chicken they peck, and one they get pecked by. There has naver been any blood, though there are small scabs on their combs. I have not seen and feather pulling, but recently I have seen some grab feathers. Tonight I also seen pecking while they were on their roost. They have plenty of space in the coop and run, with a lot of logs and stumps. Pinless peepers seem cruel to me, I don’t know what to do.

It's their pecking order, and it'll happen no matter how much space you give them. They have to figure out who's boss, and since they don't have hands, beaks have to do. If there's no blood, then they're not doing it to be mean, just to communicate. Sounds like situation normal 😊 They'll settle down once they have a hierarchy established.

How long does this process normally take? Will they let up on it once they establish?

They're young, so it's probably more enthusiastic right now, but it will lessen once they're out of the hormonal stage. It won't go away completely though, this is how chickens coexist so there's always a little bit of pecking order squabbling going on. Totally normal though, and they're not hurting each other usually. There's nothing to worry about unless you start seeing a lot of pulled feathers or blood (or one bird that is consistently singled out from the flock and hides).
