I feed them Kalmbach Layer Feed from Chewy and I occasionally give them mealworms as treatsPoor thing...so that is two birds with laying type issues and this one with a limp.

What exactly do you feed on a regular basis?
Do you feed treats often?
Mealworms are really high in fat so keep them to a teeny tiny amount and only once in a blue moon. Not daily for sure.I feed them Kalmbach Layer Feed from Chewy and I occasionally give them mealworms as treats
sometimes i give them the kalmbach 9 grain scratch, but that’s mainly during the winter because it contains cornMealworms are really high in fat so keep them to a teeny tiny amount and only once in a blue moon. Not daily for sure.
Do you feed any thing else besides these two things?
It is better to feed them a balanced diet year round...the pelleted or crumbled feed.sometimes i give them the kalmbach 9 grain scratch, but that’s mainly during the winter because it contains corn
