LOL. Here's my millies - they are SO sweet and are squatting already, but I am thinking I'd like to stay with large fowl only.. I'm still not decided - let them out the other day and my cats didn't try to eat them so maybe they can stay? Certainly not with the BLRW roo in the same pen tho, so one or the other has to go.

Wow...they are cute! AmyJ hooked me up with Mille x Bantam Lav Ameraucana eggs. In my mind they seem so cute! Can't wait for them to hatch. I want bantam EE eggs for Christmas ornament decorating!

I have a beast of a bator full of eggs. 3 Sebbie goose eggs are going strong, I think there are 7

Black/Blue Ameraucana eggs (air cells are wicked messed up...I hope they make it), 2 Midget White Turkeys, 3 Lilac Turkeys, 54 various duck eggs, FBCM, BCM, OE's, EE's, Bantam EE's, Isa/JG's, and a few of my white Silkies. CRAZY!!! There are just under 200 eggs in there. And, I haven't set Lav Am eggs for myself yet.

I've given all my babies to friends.

Anybody want a few ducks????

I am selling off all of my layers!!! How crazy is that!? These happen to be all of my hatchery birds, but it is sad to see them go.

Wow, you don't need eggs any more?

I should sell off my hatchery layers this year since they will be > 1 year old, but I have a soft spot for my production reds and leghorns.

Just think of the man made pond you could have, with all the ducks flocking around you. And the eggs are (said to be) DELICIOUS! Don't paint yourself into a corner just yet woman!!!

I have 46 chicks in the house, 10 ducks in the house and my goal is to get them out to the coop in a pen this weekend!!!!! I am going to try really hard to introduce the goslings to the ducklings with a safety barrier of wire up of course! The geese are 6 weeks old and almost fully feathered and are really getting beautiful!!! I love them! I think most of these ducks are going to be pretty large so I hope all the waterfowl can get along!

Then I have eggs coming next week to stick in the incubator. I have my white silkie on standby in case I need her to take some extra eggs. She is sitting in an empty nest just waiting for me to give her some.

Love her!

I finally took the spurs off of Mr. Jack@#% and he is still onery as ever. I was worried that he was going to be sore for a while but as DH put him on the ground he immediately mounted a hen and acted like a jerk!

Really why?? Are you going to replace with other layers?? I love my layer flock the very most. But I am slowly making it out of some of my favorite breeds so I can have the best of both worlds.

And have a rainbow egg basket too!

Wow! Is it warmer where you are? I need a barn...desperately! I can't wait to get the ducks out of the house. They go through 5 gallons of water a day...and by go through I mean splash everywhere!

Lil' turds! I have cleaned their big brooder out everyday since Sunday night. I just didn't understand it when someone told me they'd be messy. Boy, I sure understand it now! Pee-yoo!!!

And that is just the 13 from McMurray! I have 14 coming from Holderread's next month and 54 eggs (I expect half of that to hatch) in the bator. Duck math is apparently WAY worse than chicken math!
