4 toes, hairy legs and black skin

5 toes, white skin, no hairy legs

Lol! I will do it, then! CAN'T WAIT! First hatch of the year, it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. I've only done it once before, a looooong time ago, though I do not want to post so many O's.

picked up 15 baby ameracauna chicks. Well worth the 2 hour drive!!!! Gorgeous baby, now Sharkey my full blooded Ameracauna will have his flock!!!! fantastic. PTL , Happy dance, home and now they are home! at the farm! Only problem, there is a raw spot under one of the baby's wings, no peach fuzz just skin and the little one is picking at it constantly...What could this be?????
What should I do to try to get him to stop. Pics in the morning!

If I weren't hatching, what would I be doing .....dreaming of hatching!

(kidding, kind of, but those of us who are Lavender Ameraucana chick impaired must live vicariously through Lavender chick owners, and we will use strange and wonderful methods of getting the pictures!)

Once there was a REALLY smart sheep who knew how to make butter and buttermilk. One night she snuck out of the barnyard and got a job working for a neighboring farmer, who set up a roadside stand and told her to try to sell the stuff. Unfortunately traffic was very heavy and the sight of this sheep making butter and buttermilk was so distracting that naturally there was an accident.



The police investigated and issued the farmer a citation for making an illegal ewe churn on a busy highway.
