PM me and we can work something out, thanks.

I am a PM hoarder! I'm sorry. I have sold off all of my Silvers and Buffs. I have Black, Lav and Wheaten left. I need to collect enough for my breeding program in April, and then we can go from there.

I love my broody hen!

When I opened the door of the chicken house, she poked her head out of her nest and then stepped out. She obviously wanted out of her brooder box ( 2' x 5'). So I opened the door and she hopped up and went outside.

She evacuated 6 times!

I guess she had to go and was tired of waiting!

Then she drank water for several minutes and was pecking around, minding her own business when my BA rooster noticed her and CHARGED at her!

Fortunately, she was on the other side of the fence!

I think she would have won that battle!

I'm going to get some Easter Egger X Lav. AM eggs from you next month, just as soon as everything hatches out in my 'bators! I have an Olive Egger Roo and I really need some EE pullets for him so I can start my own Project OE's!! Plus, I just think yours are adorable! I'm a sucker for muffed chickens!!

Muggs - Oh shucks!! I wanted some Silver and Buffs so badly!!

Did everbody overcome their addiction?

I actually am selling chickens this week! I sold 4 EE pullets that were from the January Pullet Surprise and I am meeting a BYC-er on Saturday to deliver the sweetest RSL that I have been fostering for her until it got big enough to join her adult flock!

SO, 5 less chickens!

Of course, there will be Cuckoo Marans hatching in 13 days!

My favorite chicken currently is my lil special needs Araucana mix. It is tufted and rumpless and has 1 leg that is permanently extended out behind the body!

'Tiny' manages to get around by hopping and flapping, but the other chickens pick on Tiny, so Tiny has a private cage!

I am beginning to hope that Tiny might be a pullet! At 6 weeks old, there is no sign of any boy traits!

LOL. Here's my millies - they are SO sweet and are squatting already, but I am thinking I'd like to stay with large fowl only.. I'm still not decided - let them out the other day and my cats didn't try to eat them so maybe they can stay? Certainly not with the BLRW roo in the same pen tho, so one or the other has to go.
