Congrats PartridgeRooster, They are pretty!

I like to collect farm animals too.

I have a horse, a mini donkey, geese, ducks, chickens, guineas, turkeys, dogs, cats and now goats.....oh and fish in the aquarium. Used to have a steer and a pig but we ate them.

Well the mom seems sweet but timid but its a new place and new owner so thats to be expected. Her daughter on the other hand is a spitfire, lol. When I took her mom out of the trailer first she bit me on my tush, which made me jump, my wife laugh and the llama's mom spook. The daughter really isn't keen on being away from mummy, and I found will follow her without the need for a lead rope.

My DD and I got to see one of her girls lay for her...we were telling them we were going to give them a bunch of treats for being such good girls and one stood up and "PLOP"...laid the most perfect egg! That was also my first time seeing a hen lay. Raising chickens just doesn't get old!!!

In the meantime, I have 2 alpacas, chickens, Sebbie geese (that are STILL awesome!), dogs, ducks, cat, rabbits, mealworms (do they count?), 2 parakeets and a pot belly pig!

I'm dwindling down the ducks and chickens...this is the part I hate...preparing for winter cooping and knowing I can't keep them all!

Okay enablers lets see how good you are, I am looking for 2 young ducks either runners or muscovy they have to be female, I have too many drakes now thats why I'm looking for 2 girls,

my dh wants to process one of the drakes to bring us down to 2 drakes but they are gonna be tuff since their up in age, ones 8 and not sure about the other since he was a rescue, but the youngest is only 3 months and has been hand raised so I would never even think about roasting him. So I need 2 girsl to go with the 6 I already have. any one have some extra? close to Asheville N.C.?
