ETA: I just went back to check on the new keets and I heard ANOTHER peep coming from the Sportsman, after inspecting somemore Guinea eggs I found one white a large pip. They seem to be hatching just fine in the Sportsman, so I just left him in there.

Forgot to post this on my several arce free range coop. Gonna have all around three hundred hens in the pen, which is about eight acres. 200 will be the Rhode Island Reds and the rest will be a hodge podge of extra hen breeds I'm thinning on.
The green is pasture pens.
Black line is the walkway with feed and gathering area as several dozen hen boxes will be up. The blue circles are water, Tan food.
The building will look like a short Turkey building, except the bottom foot of the buildings siding will flip up. Its all fenced well with some newly planted trees.

Sorry Fluff but in reading I've found its very hard to live trap a Bobcat. You might have to carry a gun with ya around the property.

Aspen, congrats on your peeps!!! What a nice surprise!

Yes, we've never been able to catch one either, but we have it set just the same. Last night something must have eaten the bait...as it was gone this morning. It could have been our two 'house' cats. They roam around in the yard at night...they know we will feed something. Or it could have been the bob-cat, but I doubt it as he would have set it off, whereas the tiny 'house' cats wouldn't have set it off as they don't weigh hardly anything.
