My darling wife and I were stranded in rural Virginia with a flat tire. Broken jack. No cell service. No humans in sight. What were we to do? I started jogging down the road, hoping to find a phone or, hopefully, a jack. After 20 minutes (I guessed 4 miles or so; I'm an optimist) and not a single house in sight, I turned around and headed back, hoping that help lay in the other direction. When I finally returned to the car, I saw my lovely wife was sitting on the fence with tears in her eyes. I told her that I was ok and not to cry. She just pointed at the flat tire, laughing: We made it back safely. Now we have 5 of our own (chickens, that is). And we never knew that it would be SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Thanks, BYC!
