Chicken Run Covers

I have a 10 foot long by 4 foot wide run about 4 feet high that I cover with a plastic tarp as follows. Every 2 feet or so across the short dimension I have a wooded cross member that the 2 x 4 welded wire is attached to. In the middle of each cross member I have a 3 inch tall piece of 2 x 4 standing on end. Across these pieces I run a 10 foot length of 1/2 inch metal electrical conduit as a ridge pole. I drape a 10 x 8 foot plastic tarp across the ride pole so that about 1 foot hangs down on the east side, 4 feet across the top and 3 feet down the west side (storms come from the west here). I tighten the whole thing with bungee cords that I hook through the grommets and attach the other end to screens I placed in the wood sides where needed. Works well and easy to remove.
