10ft² in this case I believe is 1'x10'. So minimum run space would need to be 5'x10'.

ok so in the byway you must have a minumum of 6000ft2. That means my land must have 6000 1 foot squares NOT a 6000x6000 foot lot. by that logic 10ft2 is 10 1 foot squares?

10ftx10ft is 100ft². Thats where we went wrong!
Indoor coop space would be 4'x5'

What were you planing for an actual coop style, if we can get the math to work? Can you do an open air coop in your area or do the bylaws require an enclosed coop?
