what you can't see in the picture is the roosting post that is 2 inches taller than the box and it is also two inches away from the box. 6 months of putting them on the roosting post by hand and they still don't get it.

what do expect? mine do the same thing to the roses and then get stuck in the ivy that grows with the roses. personally it seems like the chickens do it to annoy us. it is not fun having to untangle them and get the rose thorns out
