Chicken sick yeast in throat help please !

You are grasping at straws. Your description of symptoms matches wet pox, but I haven't heard any that match infectious bronchitis or sour crop. Without seeing him, they cannot be completely ruled out, but the symptoms you describe sound like wet pox.

For that use qtips and listerine (the original very nasty tasting stuff) to thoroughly swab out his throat at least twice per day; 3 or 4 times a day is better. You want to remove as much of the white membrane as you can, but it will be painful and probably bleed, You are not likely to get it all the first or even second time. But you need to remove it as that membrane is making breathing, eating and drinking difficult. You also want to add an antibiotic to his water to ward off secondary bacterial infections (pox is a virus, so antibiotics will not help)

Well he does not have those scabs at all all on his comb. His breath really smells, he has lots of white yeast, rales and is gasping for breath. It all just hapened suddenly, I know it is not sour crop, but it wouldn't be ibd?

He has been getting much better this past week, he even crowed. We are keeping him separate from the flock, in a crate where he has food and water, we are giving him crumbles and yogurt with fresh water. We did find another bird who had the same symptoms, think that he might need more time to recover. We treated all our chickens with Sulmet and we are checking them each day for any signs of this disease.

My goodness, they both are standing up and eating and drinking. From breathing heavily on deaths door to crowing and eating they both are doing excellent. We thought they were going to die, but my mom came up with some good stuff to give them: Crushed aspirin in some water to help pain and reduce swelling in the air passage ways, NUTRI-DRENCH and honey mixed together provided vitamins and minerals to help recover, and yogurt to replace bad bacteria to good bacteria. I think my mom saved them, I am so happy
