Well turns out they were busted for cock fighting ring outside of town. I am in law enforcement and realized some of the idiots who were busted were the neighbors so I did nothing wrong. In state of TX., you have the right to protect yourself and your property.

That looks like some of the grand pappys I have around here! LOL As long as you POSITIVELY KNOW the different kinds of snakes and don't try to grab a venomous one, snakes are not that hard to handle. You could take a hoe handle, a big stick or something like that and pick it up. If you have some room you can grab them by the tail but watch out because they can turn right around on you. If that happens and you think you are about to get bit just toss it and start all over. You will be surprised how strong they are! A stick helps to keep from getting bit. Some people pin them down and grab them behind the head. I'd rather deal with the other end! lol Try not to get them all excited and it will go smoother. Some can be picked up gently and won't even try to bite. If they have to go I recommend relocating them but I figure for every non-venomous snake I kill or relocate, that makes room for a venomous one to move in and eat what the snake I got rid of would have ate.
