Built my chickens a little swing today in their run. Not sure if they will use it or like it but figured I’d give it a try, something different for them to explore and play with. I used left over wood I had from the coop build.

I have 4 pullets in my flock. (About 10 weeks old) Hoping because they are younger, maybe they will take it out more likely.

Anyone else have experiences with chickens and swings? Do they typically like them and actually use them? What design & height has worked best? Any suggestions or training to get my girls to use it?

Never had one, but have seen plenty posted over the years here.
Most don't get used much, too unstable.
The successful ones have the hanger ropes short and spread out as far as possible to reduce the movement.

The above 14 week chick that hatched from a purchased egg loves the swing. I have yet to decide what this little chick is so if you have any suggestions I am open to comment.
