I did find a chicken pinata - found more hits if I started searching for rooster instead of chicken. And I am thinking that cute little rooster shaped hand soaps might make nice party favors. I get tired of sending home loads of sugar in the goodie bags which I know the parents don't appreciate and really, who needs more molded plastic chicken shaped toys...

Pin-the-feather-on-the-rooster game?

I had a farm-theme for my son's birthday one year, and I put snacks in small brown paper bags and marked it "chicken scratch." I also took a galvanized tub and "hid" the punch bowl inside, surrounded by hay.

I had a friend mention an egg hunt, I think that would be fantastic. And it turns out that one of my long lost friends that I reconnected with on Facebook has her own chocolate confectionery business and would be able to come up with chocolate chickens for the goodie bags.

Ok, now I'm enjoying myself.
