chicken thief (caught)

Spend all last weekend digging holes and setting traps. Wednesday evening I left on a camping/fishing trip. When I got home this afternoon, I found a note asking me to call my neighbor (the sheriff). He told me when he checked the trap Friday, there was a gentleman in the bottom of one. This man is now in jail and will be spending a long time thinking about my chickens. Not just because of stealing the chickens, but he was on parole and wanted on other crimes. He was not hurt in the fall to the bottom of the hole. Next time I will have to dig a little deeper.

Had a great time with the family. Only caught one fish.
