Just wondering if there are any toys I can make or buy for my girls

I've heard people hang a head of lettuce so they can peck at it so that would give some mental stimulation I guess.

I don't think they are really toy playing birds though. If you want to give them some stimulation but can't free range. Try looking up chicken tunnel. Good post on that recently.

We have a yellow ball that you fill with treats- it has little holes in the ends, so as they roll it the treats come out. They LOVE it! It is about the size of a baseball, and I've seen them on line and we got ours at a feed store.
