I checked her crop just now and it feels soft and squishy, not hard, but I’ll check again in the morning. I’m not too sure what a normal crop should feel like though. I’ll pick up one of the other hens and check hers in a bit
I’m currently giving her some poultry vitamins and electrolytes which she seems to be really enjoying. I’ve soaked up some bread in Verm-X but she seems to be ignoring that, just drinking a lot of the water mixed with vitamins and electrolytes.
Oh, yikes! Hopefully it’s not coccidiosis. I’m not too sure if these birds have been vaccinated / had medicated food growing up, but I’ve just bought some Coxoid just in case. I also bought some Flubenvet but she’s not gasping anymore so maybe it wasn’t gapeworm. I’ll give both a go when it arrives however
