Chicken vanished, hawk?

Well there is a stray cat, it chewed up my cat's leg so bad I had to send him to the vet to remove an abscess that formed. I had intentions to shoot it, but it's a cat and I like cats, plus I don't know where it came from. I would hate to shoot somebody's beloved pet.
I saw both that cat and the coyote yesterday, I think I'll set up a trail cam. I've got coon issues too, but my dogs killed a litter of coon pups and the adults seemed to move on after that. Thankfully they stick to the usual racoon habits.

I would definitely use trail cams. I hope you get it figured out and although I like cats too, I do NOT have any tolerance for one that kills my birds.

If it appears on that camera more than once a week it will be a dead cat. I've had enough problem with other people's pets harming animals on my property. Sorry about your birds :(

Thanks, of course you KNOW it took everyone's favorite little easter egger first. Then it got my Whitings True Blue that survived some crazy disease as a pullet (only to be cat food). I guess that cat does not like blue eggs. Now I have to wait for my Creambars to start laying!

Of course, nasty predators always know everyone's favorite :hit
I've sadly had to make a "favorites" pen, because I can't stand the thought of one of my special babies being torn to pieces by a predator. They just aren't as happy as my free rangers, which is why I still free range :(

I don't even free range and still have predation. And I live in the suburbs!
