Thank you, I will do that. Please, don't forget to always offer plain fresh water as well, as sometimessick chickens will not drink at all when there are whatever well-intentioned additives in the water.

Try it and see if that helps.Okay, so Mikes falconry has some… for $40. With shipping it would be $50.

I looked on backyard chickens and found a page detailing ACV, wheat bran mash, yogurt, and epsom salt… I’ll try that first. I cant afford this, and the other supplements my birds have been needing. On top of that, I’ll continue the oregano as an antibiotic, and put garlic in her water… hopefully that will work. Anyone aware of other natural remedies I can try? Essential oils are one thing I have plenty of on hand, and diluted the cost is pennies per dose.

Thank you for your input. I was afraid of something like this being the case… I will put her down within a day or two before it gets any worse.I'm very sorry that it's not going well.
I think this may be lash material you are pulling out. Salpingitis is an inflammation of the oviduct. Sometimes and antibiotic can help with the infection if caught early.
The inflammation looks painful doesn't it.
Amoxicllin or Baytril may help with some symptoms, but unfortunately most hens still eventually succumb to the inflammation.
