Just came to give her her evening feed and found she’s escaped the box! Guess she’s feeling betterTry your best to stay with it. She's hungry, so she should "help" you as much as she can. Let us know how it goes![]()

Just came to give her her evening feed and found she’s escaped the box! Guess she’s feeling betterneck still a bit wonky tho so will keep going!
Thanks yeh I added the selenium, gave half a tab so slightly too much but she didn’t eat that meal so I guess not a problem as she’s only had one meal today. I made it slightly drier with yoghurt instead of egg yolk this evening and she pretty much inhaled it! Will keep up that formula. Left her with more dry food and water with electrolytes in. I’ll keep going thanks so much for your advice, I wouldn’t have had a clue!Glad to hear that! Were you able to get the Selenium too?
I noticed in my post #14 above that I failed to tell you to add the Selenium in my haste to put the directions together. Crush about 1/8 or less of a 200mcg (microgram) tablet and mix with the dry bits of each treatment serving before adding the Yogurt. Then mix the Yogurt in. You can also some Fried Egg or Boiled Egg to meet the Selenium requirement.
Keep up with twice per day "treatments" of this mash. In between, you can give her Feed, Treats, Mash without the Vit-E and Selenium, and Water. I believe you'll see continued improvement of your girl if you do that...![]()

Put her in a crate in the coop and/or run for the beginnings of re-integration.Any suggestions?
Hi all. My chick is still alive thankfully and seemed a lot better so I took her back to her siblings today. Discovered they’re twice her size and she was immediately in dangerTried her in with the new mum and her two chicks but new mum wanted to kill her too… I’ve now put her in my indoor cage that I use for chicks when I’ve incubated eggs but she’s all alone… hoping she grows quick and I can put her back with her tribe, but worried I may now have an indoor pet chicken! Any suggestions? Thanks as always
