I've read the Wyandottes are generally slow to develop. Mine is 7 1/2 months and only 4 lb. She's at the bottom of the pecking order, but eats and certainly runs around! She doesn't act sick, is quieter than the others so am just wondering about her weight. Perhaps I'm just concerned because she's bottom of the pecking order. Anyone know about Wyandottes or chicken weight? Thanks!

ive got a six month old bantam wyandotte,im pretty sure is a roo and hasnt started crowing and is the smallest chicken in the coop.

Yep. That would be slow developing!

Guess I shouldn't be too concerned. I figure she won't lay until Spring anyway. Maybe then she'll gain a bit.
