Chicken without a tongue?

Sadly I had to cull vanilla she was showing symptoms of a neurological problem, she stopped eating and drinking and would not move from one spot. she just stood in the corner of the coop and was shaking her whole body very violently for 2 days. so i went to the vet and I was told by the vet that she was only going to get worse. her brain was not growing from some disease. I forget what she said was the cause. it was some odd long name.

I am sorry you had to cull your chicken. Sounds like she was born with genetic issues. You tried to help her.

Thanks. I still have 4 chickens and they all seem healthy. 2 outside and 2 indoors. they fight when i put them in the coop together so i'm slowly putting them together in the day while i sit outside with them, they been fighting alot less so soon i can get them outside and they will stop waking me up jumping on my head while i'm asleep lol

It's ok. she was so sick she had to go. I still got my other 4 chickens.
they now dictate when they sleep/nap... they wake me up by jumping on my head. still slowly integrating them with the other chickens. they fight some but not too much now. soon they get put outside so i can SLEEP lol

they always outside in the day now but i don't trust them in the coop yet. they fight when they don't have my yard to spread out in
