Today one of my girls was dangling something from her mouth and the other girls were chasing her.
When I went to see what it was it turned out to be a baby bird and she gobbled it whole !!

Mine go after the frogs, snakes, & all kinds of bugs of course. Not surprised the little Dino's eat other birds & mice.

I'm really hoping that when mine are old enough they'll go after the voles in my garden.

Mine killed a rat once. My husband was shocked. We were a little worried the rat had been poisoned or something but fortunately they just killed it and didn't eat much of it.

Yeah, chickens are absolutely small feathered dinosaurs. We've had 'em brain rats in front of us. I think seeing one gobble down a baby bird would have nearly been the end of me.
