Chickens arent laying

Hi you guys i have about 20 hens and one rooster. I was getting atleast a dozen eggs a day and for the past month ive only been getting between 2-5 eggs a day. I have added a few new hens and was wo dering if it could be stress or what. Any help would be great. Thanx

Sounds like your new hens are stressed over the introduction of "new kids on the block." Give them time...things should smooth out soon.

Yup, that would be my guess. Chickens are very funny about any changes, but they get over it in time.

Yea thats what i figured thanks guys. I also was wondering if theres something else i should feed them besides laying pellets and kitchen scratch sometimes that would better the quality and amount of eggs they lay
