So two of my chickens got into an old batch of potting soil when I wasn't looking a couple of days ago. Like Miracle Grow or similar. It was not in a bag and it was in an old pot. They managed to make a mess of things as they do. Yesterday while cleaning up their area I noticed that they're droppings had tiny green balls in it. Did they ingest fertilizer?
They're acting totally fine. Not sick. And I immediately threw away their eggs from yesterday and today worried its going to leech in.
Should I do anything else for them? How long should I throw out their eggs?
I've attached a picture of the tiny green bit in case that helps. (This is from the potting soil they didn't eat not their droppings!) Thanks for anyone's insight on this.
