Chip actually has a large influence of my flock as he counters my other cockerel (Dave, who is a Buff Orpington), because sometime Dave gets greedy and prevents some of my pullets from getting snacks, so Chip has to stop Dave by helping the pullets get the snack. So Chip is actually quite helpful.
