have you looked up the ordinances for that location?

if an HOA, those rules apply, even if local ordinances differ.

if not in a city or township with ordinances or restrictions (because it is outside of those boundaries) then check the county rules/ordinances.

always check what is written and is fact before calling and asking. It has been known to happen (here and there-via anecdotes on BYC) that a chicken hating employee will lie or mislead If you just rely on calling.

Hello, I live in Wickliffe and around the block from me there is a house that definitely has a small chicken coup in the backyard with at least 4 chickens in it. I believe if there is no ordinance prohibiting it.
