I'm so upset right now! Today is hatch day. I have 4 external pips and at least 1 internal. I came to look in the incubator and check on them (I'm checking like every hour) and the temp was 75 degrees!! The fan was blowing inside the brinsea mini but blowing COLD air out!!

Its not working!! Thank god I have another mini. I transferred them all over but I'm so afraid of issues now that they had cold air blowing on them!! They couldn't have been cold for longer then an hour. Please give me any advice or encouragement that they'll be ok. I'm so mad at brinsea. I would like to say a lot of four letter words right now!!

I think you will be okay.

. I'm sorry. I know it can scary but if you get the humidity up and then warm I think you will be okay. Esp since it was less then an hour. Chicks are very hardy Esp if they have that will to thrive. Keep us informed.

I too think that you should be OK.

You'll be fine. The universe owes you a good hatch

All this times infinity. We are gonna kick the universe's you-know-hmms, if things don't go well for you.
Have a houseful of family which is so nice for a change. First time my parents got to see their great granddaughter.

Great balloon ascension this morning, I'll try to get some pics off my dad's camera to post on Monday after everyone heads home. But now we are having s big thunderstorm and may have them off and on for the next day or so, Hope they can launch in the morning.

Anyways, just wanted to say hi!

We had a houseful of a different kind today. . .

Apparently they're coming in out of the rain. . . Nice of em to make themselves welcome. Fixing to take a break from caulking and spraying and go get a cup of coffee.
Enjoy the rain, guys.

Hi everybody! I spent all day in my concealed firearms class. Passed my test. Look out bad guys! :D

@RubyNala97 what's up with your hatch? :fl

You cad!!!! [SUB]I like your style.[/SUB] There are just so many places to go with this. They're too juvenile and overt--- even for me!!!! I feel dirty. . . gonna go shower now. Sweet dreams, y'all! You guys know perfectly well, that we haven't seen those chickies bc they are entertaining the master. Quote: That's awesome!!! So it's totally cost effective?! What about the mess if they free range? We are also thinking about the breese. . . Just so many unanswered questions. lol
They turned out $10 a bird for us. Great tasting. They free range a bit, but don't count on it. They do get smelly, even with space to roam. Bresee take about 9 months to mature and then don't expect a Cornish X size. I did look into them. I have been down flat sick. I don't get sick but every few years, but when I do it's a barn burner. Lost 5 pounds in 3 days. Not caught up. How is the storm SC?

Sorry to hear you're sick.

All this rain has me seriously reconsidering anything to do with meat birds!

But I'll probably be butchering two roos come dry weather. I'm just gonna skin em and be done with it(ty, Walnut). Tomorrow we are finishing the larger grow out pen so we can move the BLRW and BA's there so that we can put our foley BLRW in the big brooder!
