Had a first for me today. I got 3 green eggs today out of my 2 Easter Eggers. I was pretty shocked when I picked up the third one this evening. Not too bad for 2 1/2 year old hens.

Thanks everyone! This is a never ending hatch!...not that I'm complaining. All eggs are either hatched or pipped except for one. I checked it (my humidity was over 90, so I wanted to let a little out) and it still alive and moving against the membrane, looks like the last egg will internally pip soon! Can't believe it!

I am so happy for you and your little chickie family!

They turned out $10 a bird for us. Great tasting. They free range a bit, but don't count on it. They do get smelly, even with space to roam. Bresee take about 9 months to mature and then don't expect a Cornish X size. I did look into them.

I have been down flat sick. I don't get sick but every few years, but when I do it's a barn burner. Lost 5 pounds in 3 days. Not caught up.

How is the storm SC?
Pretty bad. I'm at work today trying to repair the damage just so we can open tomorrow...
