I'm trying to (between dealing with a fussy, crying baby

) look up the info on how or what regulations are for shipping birds out of NY. He's a super sweet boy too and turning into a nice gentleman. He'll be a good boy! And I agree with what you said. I'm just so close to having them all be old enough to lay! But it's for the greater good that they go.
I'm going to make up a craigslist ad today. And get a feel for what happens. What do you think would be good to buy from a top breeder? One boy, one girl or 2, 3 girls?
Why don't kids ever mind freezing cold water??

A good minimum would be 1 boy and 2-3 girls. You can hatch a lot of eggs from a group like that. If I were buying expensive SQ adult birds and I could afford it, that's what I would do.

Busy flockin day, and still going... just wanted to say I'll share later with my advice about breeding, sellin, buying, etc... just giving fair warning, it'll be a long post... :gig

Congrats! Can't wait to hear about what condition it's in or how you fix it up!
