Chickens won’t stop digging along the run fence!

I use logs/firewood chunks bordering the fence due to digging along it. Run is like a big compost bin and the logs against the ground harbor worms and bugs for the chickens to get when they dislodge one (they’re about 4-8” diameter 12-20” long, chicken can definitely move them with their feet)

Most of the fence I use this (don't know how it is called in English, in German it's Erdanker) to strengthen, so far so good, I also use stones as well.

Erdanker - Commonly know as ground cloth staples here in the US.
