I just sold 4 BC Marans to a friend at work. I have one chick left. It is a Black Copper Marans and is feather legged. I have more eggs coming next week, so in about 3/4 weeks I might have few more. Let me know Spook...

Well, at this point I would assume that 4 week wait may be the best offer at this point.

Now, I have another family that would like 2 standard sized pullets. It does not have to be this weekend, but like everyone else, you wanted them the day you learned what they are!

So, its growing... starting to look like a fun weekend!
This time, I swear I'll bring Scooter, Lucy and Jr. I know I can handle Lucy and Scooter...jr..she is still a little scamp, to big for her britches.

The count down is on! We maybe nutty (er- I may be nutty) but I'm a happy moron! (most days)

One lady is looking for Marans, another is looking for standard Cochins(non-show Q birds).

I made a napkin holder and it was awsome! Unreal how far off from reality you can get, learning to get the reed (?) on the right side, and stuff. The baskets some of the girls were making made me drewl!
This shop is 1/2 mile from my house and a friend runs it...wish I'd gone long ago!
Have a great day everyone and I'll catch up with ya later!

Hoppy...I'm looking for a list, if possible, of participants in the chickenstock this Sat. I'm looking for Marans. Thanks, Jerry Beans

There isn't a list, its come, set up, sell, buy go home. I hope to make a contact list at some point for those in the area for months that we do not have one.

If you are looking for a breed in particular, you can post it here in the forum or contact them privately in PM or Email.

Again, sorry to bring this up, sales of fuzzy chicks must be in minimum group of 6, 8 weeks and up you can sell/buy singular.

I'm not the Chicken police, but I'm the bad guy that learns the laws and passes them on. (not intended to be towards any one person.)

I have more Welsumer cockerels than I know what to do with and I just realized they will be 8 weeks old by Saturday so that 6-at-a-time rule won't apply to them.

I hatched some Welsumers this spring with the intention of keeping some breeders, but ended up with 8 cockerels and 1 pullet.

They're free to anyone who would like to pick them up (I live in Standish) but I'd like a couple of bucks a piece for them if I drive them to Oxford. I wasn't planning on going to this chickenstock, but would make the trip if it means new homes for some of these Welsumers.

Please PM if you are interested in one, I might miss a message in this thread since I don't follow them closely especially as the event nears and traffic increases.

Tim
