Ours haven't shown any interest in the breeding thing as of yet, but you guys are usuaully a month ahead of us, even people here in Maine are warmer, we live in this valley that holds snow til like april lol, everything dumps here.

Do you think you will make it to Shays first stock of the year? I hope so, seems like forever since we chatted last!
Wish we could afford too (well will take Sarah, kidding lol) Me too really would love to go but not far enough to get all the yucky harmful critters, like to walk most places and not worry and Sarah makes friends with everything, but she would learn to tell... She finally got her snake and loves him, she even feeds him, have at it..... I am all set with not watching him eat!!!!
We are sure going to try, is there a date yet? Course with all the melt off we will have a little mud lol.
Feeling better went to work for the first night and so far so good, a little weak still but much better.

Glad you are feeling better, but it stinks to be it is not good to push yourself if youa re weak. Try eating more red meat! they say that helps. I am not a big red meat eater, maybe that is why I have no energy most of the time. Wayne says I only have energy when it involves chicken stuff...and he is 100% correct for the only time in his life! LOL

Lol well the first visit cost me $441. i paid 341 on that one and the second visit cost 348 so i owe them 448 he is doing good now the serama's i am about to lose the black hen her under side is swollen jackie and think it is a tumer she is worse by the day and today she is down

after loosing 5 of my chickens weeks ago, whatever it was seems to have left. had the state vet out a couple weeks ago and got my NPIP testing results back and everyone is still clean. i've been a little more focused on getting my stuff ready for a HUGE garden this year. also been dealing with a few broody hens that just don't want to give it up. but they haven't been very successful hatching yet.
Keesmom, my mini fav Delilah is finally laying eggs for me! i guess she is just a very small girl! at 8 mo she is probably still around 1lb!

My December hatch (that my silly hens insisted on doing) ended up with 4 girls and 3 boys. Darleen took a couple, i kept one girl, and sold the others thru a craigslist ad.
