can someone tell me what i should bring other then my beautifull birds if i am to come do i need my own display cages exc.

Did anyone go to Farmington Fair, Maine, besides melilem and I? There was a pair of RIR STD's that were disqualified because they were "commercial birds". Can anyone explain to me how that can matter and what makes one bird commercial and one to be back yard bird...???

spook, i wont be making this gardener swap however i am considering coming to windsor, i just need to figure out if it is ok for me to come to sell birds, i need to contact that club. need to join, and get the details,

Yes, the only thing that is given to you by the host of the Chickenstock is the parking lot or grounds to show your birds and sell. So if you want stands, tables, etc etc, you must bring your own everything to display. Some use a tail gate, if anyone needs an extra tail gate, I will gladly pop the back end.
You also may want to bring chairs, I've seen playpens with nets over the tops of them for birds, umbrellas, I usually have a couple with me for shade or rain for you or the birds.
Also, bring boxes for folks to take the bird safely home.
Getting together, meeting folks that you have so much in common with is over whelming! Such a fun time.

At Windsor, people sell birds off their tailgates, and noone will be checking to see if they are tested. I guess technically, though I really shouldnt mention this, noone will be checking to see that you are a CMBF member either... except me and spook *cough*. Yeah..we'll be watching

. Membership is cheap anyway.

Hmmm Spook that's funny that they DQ'd production reds(?) at the Farmington Fair. I didn't see that. They must have had SOME disqualifying flaw- I mean it was only the Farmington Fair. How picky can they be?
