What's this? Not me just casually picking a dog breed for every sport

Met a gorgeous rough collie today... looked like tricolor but blue, not black. He has apparently just had a haircut because his hair was super short, (not a smooth collie) but his face was SUCH a collie face. He lived adjacent to the fields where I had softball, and I got to be part of the committee to bring him back. He had an electric fence but had jumped it because he liked to see people. It also gave me a good scope on the size of the breed, and I WANT.
