Chickie In Trouble... SOS ***New PIX*** Oh It gets WORSE :(

Agreed. I waited 12-20 hours and opened the air cells further. Good thing I did too.

I chucked my last 2 eggs, which I thought were duds. One was, but the other was another fully developed chick, dried... That sucks.

After I saw them drying up, I added more water. It was around 78-80 when they hatched. A little high, but I didn't know what to do...

They're doing fantastic

I'm so sorry Shellie about your last chicks.

I had one more hatch this morning but I had to help him/her out a bit. I decided to check the last 2 eggs, well one was fully formed but hadn't absorbed the yolk sack and the other one must have died around day 19 or so cause he was breech and didn't have any feathers covering his brain area and yolk sack was not absorbed either.

So now we have 13 babies out of 17, not a bad hatch for the first time I guess

I've got 19 eggs lined up from my girls that I so want to put in the bator tonight, I miss the hum of that thing!

I guess I'll wait until I collect the eggs from my girls tomorrow and than off we go again.

What are BLRW's?? I'm so lost when it comes to different breeds

How long do you have to wait until you get your eggs? I wanted to start the bator up again tonight, but hubby said wait until we collect a few more eggs. This is too addicting
