Chicks all arrived dead

I'm so sorry, I'm sure they will make it right. I ordered from them also and had the same time frame of a wednesday ship delivery friday. Mine are all doing great still at 6 weeks. Maybe that storm /cold front that just passed through affected them. Sending you wishes for a hearty box 'o chicks next round.

I'll bet they got too cold! poor babies.

I got Swedish flower hens chicks from Greenfire and they had a heat pack and it was still warm when they got here...it took 2 days from Florida to Tx. I am sorry....Ideal ships year around....they should know better...If they don't use heat packs...I wouldn't re-order...the chicks will suffer the same fate.

That happened to me last spring from McMurry. They were wonderful about it and shipped me the same order the next week. But the post office man was a 'jerk' and acually tried to get me to come get my dead chicks and almost started a rucuss. I couldn't believe it. I was crying over the phone.. It was just an awful feeling.

I'm so sorry to hear that.

I was looking into ordering from Ideal at first but then read some reviews. Apparently a lot of them arrive dead or die not long after delivery. Quite a few people believe there is something wrong with the chickens in their breeding system as a fair amount of them die from repiratory problems. I hope your next shipment goes better.
