Chicks and Quail together?

Hi folks.

Is it possible - and practical - to incubate quail and chickens together? I was hoping to start the chickens 6 days prior to adding the quail eggs. Then they would both go into lockdown at the same time and hatch about the same time also. This way I would have both sets in their brooders at the same time and not have that fuss twice.

I've heard of chickens bullying quail when they get bigger, but i haven't actually done this myself, so I'm not too sure.

Yes, I understand bullying would be a problem and perhaps disease too. Once hatched I would move them into separate brooders. Thanks for your input.

well if you staggered the hatch right, i imagine incubating them together would work.
