Thanks for your advice, I am going today to pickup some starter food, and provide all that is mentioned here. what about the company this young one will need? is she going to be okay with just a mirror? and where are these crash courses offered?

So....I'm the one that has borrowed the other chick and its sleeping really often and it has these mini- heart attacks where it's doing something and it falls over and kicks on its back and flaps its wings and can't get up on it's own. help!?

Guys....the last chick is getting much better it's not wobbling anymore and it's chirping but it refuses to get out of the sleeping box inside the brooder for food or water what should i do? force it?

Get the sleeping box out of the brooder, dip its beak in water, and tap the food with your fingertip to draw attention to it.

Here on BYC. Post #9 of this thread gave you a link:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-first60days.html

They do better if they are not raised alone. But you can add another in a week or so when you have your brooder temp stabilized and a system for their care sorted out, if the remaining one is still alive.

oh okay and thanks!!

Please do your research before you hatch more chicks. They need starter feed....clean water....a brooder at 95 degrees....bedding...and cannot be handled or moved a lot until they are older.
