Chicks dying--- Acting lethargic, suddenly 'paralyzed' etc

Thank you, everyone, for your replies and I will get around to answering soon.
The Strange thing is when I woke up she had maggots coming in and out of her legs! She had only been dead a few hours.
Eggs hatch within 24 hours, and house fly larvae emerge.
They may have been in there in the bedding or on another chick ?
.

Today, when I walked into the coop, I saw one of my nearly 1-year-old hens, on the floor, barely unable to walk. Whats stranger is that this hen has had no contact with the sick chicks what so ever. Is there something I'm missing? Is this a different sickness?
I would think it is the same sickness... you may be carrying it in there on your feet .
I would go get enough to treat them all

I'm sorry your lost her.

When you say you found maggots coming in and out of her legs, were the maggots just crawling on the outside of the body or had they gained entry inside her body?

You poor dear, you are having troubles for sure. I'm not sure what's going on with your hen not being able to walk - can she not eat/drink on her own either?
You mention you are giving her something (formula) what is that?
Do the best you can to keep her drinking - there are so many possibilities as to what it could be that you will need to take note of her symptoms and behavior in order to narrow it down a bit. If you can re-visit the vet that would be best.

They had actually gained entry inside her body, it was disgusting, and she was only dead for a few hours. I almost wonder if they were inside her before because I could feel some weird movements which I thought was the hiccups (it wasn't).

She isn't eating or drinking by herself, she kinda looks at it, debates inside her head then decide not to touch it. Whats worse is that I'm going away for 2 weeks tomorrow, and my family isn't going to be able to manage the sickness going around let alone syringe feed them around the clock. I'm very worried that I'm going to come back to half the size of my flock. My bantams are alright, but I feel like its spreading fast. So I won't be able to see the vet unless it's in a couple of weeks time.

The stuff is called Suprim tablets for dogs (Hopefully that's the right name) but they say it works great for cocci in chooks and a few other things. We originally were gonna pick up a mixture made by the vets themselves, but the key ingredient had already been used up so this was Plan B.

Suprim is the equivalent of Bactrim or SMZ-TMP, a sulfa antibiotic. Very sorry about your losses, and I would recommend getting a necropsy by a poultry specialist on the sick hen if you lose her. If you are leaving for two weeks, I would be quickly teaching your care taker about handwashing, changing shoes, and being careful about biosecurity issues to keep from contaminating the healthy chicks.

Corid is available from Premier 1 Supplies. They ship fast and their customer service is great.

Although I haven't had any experience with coccidiosis I have Corid on hand, in liquid form, just in case.
The medicated chick feed (amprolium) regimen is almost over for my girls so I'll be on the lookout for suspicious poop in the event that they haven't built up enough of an immunity to coccidiosis.
The Corid is cheap insurance and Premier 1 ships very quickly. IIRC I received it in two or three days.
It's also available on Amazon.com. If you have Amazon Prime shipping is quick, if not, shipping from Amazon can be pure crap. You can also pay extra for overnight shipping.
