Santa brought me a printer for Christmas and the first thing I printed was all these yummy recipes!

I pulled 12 clears from my NYD hatch, I'm left with 32. 2 of which I wasn't sure, just couldn't see into.

As of this morning (day 23), I have 10 out of 13 hatched - including 3 BCMs! Very much exceeded my expectations.

Well, I am finished with 2 out of the 4 that went into lockdown. I did egotopsies today one had been a late quitter, it never absorbed the yolk sac. The other had absorbed most of the yolk sac, but had hid a vein when it pipped internally. There was blood between the membranes.

The two we hatched are really cute, and I think I may set another small batch of cochins today, so these two will have more friends.

Ajcress, I am so sorry about the disappointing hatch.

We have all been there, and it sucks every time!

Congrats on everyone's new babies..
I have been sitting on my hands.. The last time I candled my eggs I said to myself these eggs just don't look cooked yet.. They were actually due yesterday.. I sooo wanted to give some help..I did not.. This morning I have a little pip and a someone else peeping.. I had almost given up that any were going to hatch.. I am so bummed that I have to work today but it's prolly for the best.. I caught my husband peeping at the eggs last night (the person who wondered why chickens...).

I woke up this morning to 3 more little fuzz butt silkies in the bator that were due to hatch Christmas day. so a total of 5 4 of them were mine and 1 was a shipped egg. I will get pics of them in awhile. I got 3 paint silkies. 1 SG Paint silkie. No off colors. & 1 Partridge sizzle from the shipped eggs. I have 4 more in the bator with no pips. Gonna give them till tomorrow then pitch them.
