Chicks playing in water?

Does anyone else have chicks that like to play in water bowls? I use small bowls (like custard cups) for water for some of my chicks. They stand in it, dunk their faces in it, then snort and sneeze it everywhere and just generally make a huge mess!

Is this normal, or do I have ducklings masquerading as chicks? LOL

Problem is, little chicks don't know what's good for them. I'd be seriously afraid of them getting chilled.
I like the quart size chick waterers. Not enough room for dunking.

one of my chicks has me concerned......all she does is stand and mess with the water. She sneezes constantly, though doesn't have any nasal discharge. Her voice is kind of raspy, too. I took her out of the cage for some petting, and her crop is full of water! Do chickens get diabetes? LOL

I would post about her in the emergencies section. I have never had to deal with a sick chick *knock on wood*, so I only know the basics of chicken first aid.
I would brainstorm on ways to resolve the issue of them getting in the water in the first place.
