William chuckled at her, "Real mature pick on the guy who sucks at the game but finally made a shot." He laughed though happy to see her enjoying herself and coming out of her shell more. He dribbled the ball and tried to shoot it passed her and missed horribly.

Areum blushed. Of course he said something like that. She pushed him, declaring in a playful voice that prolonged the syllables “Stop! You’re making me do it more!”

Priam chuckled, immediately figuring her intent out. "Ladies first," he said, with a sweep of his arm, moving slowly so she wouldn't perceive it as an attack. Which it wasn't. He sniffed the air again, making a big show of it. "Mammal, obviously. But besides the real obvious one, what lies beneath?" He raised an eyebrow at her as a smile tugged at his lips.

"A lady? Me? I'm many things. Female and a mammal, yes. But a demure lady of good breeding is not one of them. Priam, flattery will get you nowhere fast" She said with a bit of humor. "Why is do believe you're trying to distract me and it won't work." She added as he launched forward with a head over end somersault.

Layla smiled at his words, normally if someone had said that to her before she would have made a snarky comment or attempted to maim them. But she found his gentlemanly ways strangely charming. Perhaps it was just because she had committed herself to the friendship so she accepted his interesting mannerisms as normal. She would have to test this later with someone else to see if she was going soft. Of course that would probably be unfortunate for whoever ended up on the end of her torment but she cared little about them. "I am glad I can help in any way. So do you like to read much?" She asked racking her brain for something to ask him. She never liked reading much but wondered if he did.

Adrian smiled, "Well I will make sure that your curiosity doesn't end in your demise. Come here little kitty." He said resisting the urge to say here kitty kitty like she was a pet, he didn't think she would find that nearly as amusing as he would. He sat down on the bed and waited for her to decide what she wanted to do. He wondered if there was anyone in the kitchens at this point thinking perhaps they could go there and he could make something for her. But first he wanted to just have some one on one time with her, in case there were others there he wasn't keen on sharing her at the moment.

"Yes, I actually I'm quite fond of reading. Are you planning on reading to me, Layla? That could be nice....or maybe I could read to you. Though you'd have to hold the book and turn the pages for me. " Leverett said as he looked over to Layla with a searching gaze. She seemed on edge about something. "Is something wrong? Have I said something to offend you, ma petite?" He asked with concern.

"Little kitty huh?" Willow asked with a soft giggle as she moved to straddle Adrian's lap. But thought better of it at the last minute and choose to sit down beside him instead. "How about your love kitten?Like most cats, I do purr if you pet me the right way. But be warned, I do bite at random. After all, most cats are contrary." She teased him playfully when she snuggled into his side. Her cat wouldn't harm him in the least. But Adrian didn't know that, now did he? She thought deviously to herself.

Gideon laughed at that and shook his head with merriment. "I suppose so. As good as anyone who sings can I guess. You didn't bolt, so it must have been spotted on." He said with a shrug.
