Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

When they had turned the corner out of sight, Ares headed the opposite way for his next class. Or maybe the cafeteria instead, that sounded nice. He rolled his eyes, thinking about Zaine's valiant rescue and very, very obvious lie. Lying was Ares's middle name; he knew a lie when he heard one. But he didn't much care. The way Alexis had shunned him only made him all the more eager to play this game. And with not one, but two competitors, he had his work cut out for him. He whistled cheerfully to himself as he practically strutted down the hall...And stopped dead in his tracks, pure confusion crossing his features. He took a small step towards the ginormous tiger stretched across the hall. Sleeping? Another step. Unconscious? Ares leaned down, still several feet away from the feline, and narrowed his eyes. "Hey pal, you okay?" Pal, since any wild animal here was also a person. The blood splattered on the tiger's neck said otherwise.

"I thought so." Atalanta chuckled. She waved her hand slowly through the water, watching the waves build up. "Ever considered one?"

"I don't know." Lucy crossed her arms, only to realize how uncomfortable it was when lying down. "It is stupid, i agree, but so is going out with no idea if the world and hoping to survive."
Iris admitted sheepishly “Yes. Many a time. But it has to be one I like if it’s going to be on my body my whole life.”

Victor responded “Less than living here in this zoo.” He looked to her, asking “Lucy, you’re very conflicted. I see it. Are you ok?”

Not so much as a huff. Ares, feeling confident now that the beast wasn't going to attack him, inched forward, stopping just above Dimitri's tiger head. Ares put two fingers lightly against the neck, checking for a pulse. There was one. He breathed a sigh of relief then stood. Never mind who had done this; he had to get help before that pulse went bye bye. Unfortunately the massive feline was on one of the lesser used halls, meaning a few hollers wouldn't do much good. Ares dropped his backpack and stalked off to find some help.

(*facepalm* Oh shoot, I just remembered he had gloves on)

Priam immediately loosened his grip and flicked his gaze towards his gloved hand where his claws now protruded. He hadn't meant to break through the sturdy fabric, much less cut her, but he had. Releasing her in order to turn her to face him, he gently took her bleeding wrist in his other hand to inspect the damage done. "Harper!" He barked in the assistant's direction. "We need to get her to Ryker quick." Quick, before his poison reached too far into her bloodstream and caused too much damage.

Irine panted, trying and catch her breath. Her heartfelt like it was going to pound right out of her chest.

("Where's the fun in that?" *Asks stubbornly* )
