Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Indeed! " Dimitri said with a hoity toity accent. He then held the cafeteria door open for Alexis. "Ma'am" He added like a butler.
"Hey, I could get used to this," Alexis said as she passed through the opened door. "Now will we be eating off of gold or aluminum?" She questioned in mock seriousness.

"Neither, it's Teflon plastic I believe. " Dimitri said with slight distaste.
"Oh, Well that's just downright bad," Alexis said, frowning yet trying not to smile. "While we're inquiring about some new foods, we ought to demand better dishware. I wouldn't mind being upgraded to gold, you know."

Haley arrived at the window of the nearest building and peered in. "Looks like a hardware store," she observed aloud as she glanced around the room. "And it looks to be closed," she added in a dismal tone.

(I'm so sorry, here I am waiting for you to reply to my post and I realized I missed it.)
Amaryllis eagerly peered inside to see for herself. "But we're close, so close." She smiled broadly in joy.

Razeth leaned against the wall more comfortably. He looked to Laurel with admiration in his eyes. He reached over to clasp her hand gently to cox her to settle a bet closer to him. He was relieved to have her back in the cell safe with him.

Leverett stumbled slightly with his missed step at Aralyn's unexpected voice. He snapped his head in her direction in shock. "Wha..." He started, but changed his wording as he took in her appearance. "Why does it matter? So how about you do us both a favor and go jump off a short pier. That way I don't have to listen to your grating voice....unless you can breathe water and still talk. Besides, I don't answer to you. You're just a lab experiment too." He then continued moving up the steps to give her his back. She was so aggravating in every way imaginable.

Laurel smiled at Razeth as he took her hand in his and pulled herself closer to him. At first, she rested her head against his side slightly hestitant, but immediately settled against him, and closed her eyes in pleasure.

Aralyn had thrown the towel aside and now picked uninterestedly at her fingernails until Leverett's last sentence regestered. She immediately looked up and rushed towards Leverett, forcefully grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. "Don't ever call me an experiment again." She demanded, not breaking her fierce gaze with him until she let him go, and pushed her way past him to get down the steps.

" I think you already know my answer that question. So l'll not dignify it was a lie. You also know why I can't let the girls be free. I will not allow them to be used aginst me. Loan already has my first Generation mistakes to throw at me at will." Ryker replied with a calmness that contradicted what he truly felt inside.

Anuerin waited for the fight that was to come; Ryker always had the first move. He thought that he might just have a chance to begin the fight, that was if he could keep him talking, and catch him while he was off guard. Now he had to hope that for once Ryker would be distracted. "Amaryllis is kind, gentle. Haven't you learned that? Through all the pain she never become angry at you, or even defended herself against you. She would never allow herself to be used to hurt someone. It would break her heart." Anuerin challenged.

(don't worry about it :) Considering that I left your last post sitting for two days and seven hours :p )

"Yes," Haley agreed. She was smiling now, giddy with excitement once more. Or maybe it was exhaustion? She beckoned Amaryllis to follow as she went to the next window. "Antique shop?" She questioned, peering in. It, too, was closed, as most places probably were at this hour.

Amaryllis followed eagerly after her. "What beautiful items!" She exclaimed, eyes twinkling in the dim light as she stood beside Haley.

Razeth sighed contentedly as the sat in the silent solitude. The cell wasn't a prison any longer in his mind, but a temple to protect them from the madness of the outside world.
~~~
"Sorry if the truth hurts, Mon Petit! But it's true and you know it. Ryker only keeps the useful ones!" Leverett called after her as he straightened his shirt collar with slight annoyance.
