Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Anuerin sat in silence as he studied his father. He was sure, by his father's disposition, that they hadn't yet found Amaryllis and Haley, but his fears persuaded him to think otherwise.

Ryker was deep in thought as he gazed unseeing out the window still. He only roused from his stupor, when Richard announce the ETA over the intercom. He stretched slightly and looked around the cabin curiously. He caught Anuerin's scrutiny and met it head-on with a dark look.

"You're named after the sacred tree favored by Apollo. Its leaves were used to form crowns that graced the heads of heroes, scholars and poets. But most importantly, a symbol of triumph in Rome and Greece. Your name suits you well mademoiselle." Leverett surmised aloud.

Alastor slowed as they approached. He knelt down to look at the angle of the arm quietly.

Laurel listened to Leverett intently. "I didn't know that," she admitted with a smile, "my mother named me." She enjoyed hearing name spoken; after her mother died both her father and brother called her girl with much disgust. She took Leverett's uninjured shoulder, holding him still, and kept continual contact with him. She hoped Alastor who pop his arm back into place while Leverett's attention was distracted; maybe then it wouldn't hurt so bad.

Anuerin looked away immediately. He couldn't believe that he found her. Not yet. It was too soon...

Amaryllis dragged herself out from behind the dumpster, eager to thank Pete, but he was already gone. She took the bag of food from Haley, smiling, and tucked it inside the backpack.

"Okay, Well I guess we can go now," Haley said with a smile. "Do you feel well enough to walk?" She asked. She didn't feel so well herself after her fall, but there was nothing to be done about that. They had to push on. Every minute lost was a minute sooner to being captured, she was sure.

(Silkie, your not the only rper who is keeping secrets, Nicky and I have planned something and we can't tell you what :somad :plbb)
( :pop AHH I CANT WAIT.

Is it sorry that I've been thinking about this and y'all all day during my babysitting gig?? :P )

Vasper skilfully rescued what remained of the mans coffee by taking the mug from the man's hands. "How'd you know I wanted coffee. Thanks! I didn't mind if I do." He said brightly before taking a good long drink from it. He frowned and spit it back in the mug. "Instant?! That's just nasty! " He complained.
Dyrus nodded slowly to the man's question, "Yes, those girls. Tell me everything. Oh, and just a little heads up, I can smell if you're lying to me. It smells just like burnt sugar. I hate that smell. " He replied darkly.
"I swear, I didn't do anything to them!!" The hunter replied. He was totally seeing this story from the wrong side, thinking the girls had done something against the men, rather than vice versus. Had he been aware that these were men were something along the lines of bounty hunters, he may have directed this conversation differently. "I just pointed them towards the nearest town!" He added.

"I think so," Amaryllis replied hopefully.
(No, it's sweet. Meanwhile I've been missing you.)

"Well, that's true. But we weren't talking about me, we were talking about you. So let's try and focus on that. " Dimitri said with humor.
"On me?" Alexis feigned surprise. "Well, I could do this all day!" She squealed excitedly, but then her cheerfulness turned into a pout. "Oh, me. Fine, I'll prove it to you. But since 24/7 isn't exactly convenient, how about an hour?" She offered to settle the argument.

Aw shucks)

Haley nodded. She took the pack from Amaryllis and headed out of the dark alley towards a less used road she had spotted from the roof. "Come," she beckoned to the girl to follow as she set off at a speedy pace. Had she been alone, she would have simply run, but she knew Amaryllis wasn't physically capable of that, at least not right now.
