(I'm not particularly nice to my characters, so why should I be to yours?(poor Ellie getting thrown to the wolves. Lol )
Ellie frowned at Nick when he pretty much rudely ignored her and paid more attention to the woman he was trying to keep there. "you know what never mind." She said and turned to head back over to Sam and looked to her with a scowl. "you lied he's a jerk."

Samantha smiled sweetly at her. "You've got to get to know him, hun."
Nick shrugged lightly as she stalked off. To Ellie, he simply frowned and said, "Can't for the life of me figure out what got into her."Aralyn tensed with anger as Nick held her still. She was about to react, but hesitated when he mentioned another person. She turned away to see who he referred to and whipped her head around to hold his gaze. "I work alone." She sneered, pressing the heel of her shoe into his foot. "Goodbye." She stepped back as he released his hold of her wrist.
But the girl had moved away as well. Swell. Nick, feeling a teeny bit guilty for ignoring her—but justifying it with the excuse that he was talking to Aralyn—stepped up to the table where Samantha sat. "Sam," he said, inclining his head to her. She flashed him a toothy, slightly threatening smile, enough to get her point across, so he moved on to Ellie. "Sorry about that. Did you need something?" He raised his brow questioningly as he looked at her.
