Chickens do handle the cold a lot better than the heat, for sure.
Your coop looks pretty awesome! Maybe even add a large gable vent to each end... you can seriously never have too much ventilation! The windows are great for summer, but air flow in winter (higher than the roosts) is also very important. Chicken Coop Ventilation - Go Out There And Cut More Holes In Your Coop!
If you have a rooster, you may consider feeding an All Flock instead of layer. Offer a separate container of oyster shells and grit on the side so birds can self regulate how much they need. Additional calcium is not good for males, and he won't eat it if offered separately. I just have have 2 small containers for grit and OS that I hook on the side of my run:
