Chinese button quail not laying any eggs

Hi! So I bought three Chinese button quails a week ago, I got one male and two females. They are indoor poultry and I absolutely love them! Two of them (the male and one female) are chicks and they need some time to develop, the other female is an adult laying quail, or at least that is what the breeder told me. The thing is that the adult female hasn't laid any eggs at all! They are being kept in a temporary, well ventilated plastic box, since I'm definitely going to buy a bigger one as soon as possible. What could be the reason why she isn't laying eggs? Also, they're my first poultry birds and my first birds at all, so I don't have almost any experience

Give her time. She needs to adjust to her new surrounds. Moving, handling puts a lot of stress on birds.
When she's comfortable with her surrounds, she will start laying again.

My female buttons didn't give eggs until about a month after settling in. I increased their grit, gave them more places to hide, padded the top of their cage (they would fly up), and then kind of left them alone. Since then, they give eggs daily and make the best nests!
